October Knitting

It seems like all my posts lately have been cupcake related. This might lead you to believe that all I do is eat cupcakes but I have been crafting too! It’s just a little easier to get photos of cupcakes than knitted items. Particularly now when it’s nearly dark when I get home and always raining on the weekends.
So what have I been up to? First off I finished my Owls sweater. Yay! I’m glad that I persevered after my initial attempt was a disaster. Once I get some good photos I will be doing a full post on my Owls sweater.
Next I am designing a few chunky cowls that will make great gifts that knit up quick. I have one finished and one partially done. Once I finish them and get the photography done I will post the patterns.
Lastly I’ve been planning a sweater that I’m knitting for my mom for Christmas. The yarn arrived yesterday and I’ve wound it into balls and swatched and I’m ready for NaKniSweMo. That’s National Knit a Sweater Month.
